The National Metrology Center extends a cordial invitation to participate in the upcoming Metrology Symposium, which will be held on October 26-28, 2022, as a virtual event.

This edition theme is:

Digital transformation for a better life

In various fields - industry, health, climate, society - digital technologies are changing the way we approach things, quickly and significantly. With the digital transformation, the use of digital platforms and services is becoming the rule rather than the exception, an example is this edition of the Metrology Symposium. This also leads to the use of new concepts in metrology such as Digital Calibration Certificates, Digital Twins, Remote Access and Control of Measurement Systems, Cloud Systems, Metrology for Industry 4.0, among others.

The Metrology Symposium will be an important forum to identify, know and understand the challenges and opportunities that Metrology has in the Digital Transformation, and its role in achieving a better quality of life

  • Plenary conferences, simultaneous sessions, and round tables, with the participation of leading national and international speakers in their field.
  • Commercial and technological exhibition area where you can discover the new products that exhibitors will present and interact dynamically with them through different elements such as chat, video call, appointment scheduling, multimedia library, corporate video, link to web page, among others.
  • Since this edition will be held virtually, participants will be able
    • to consult all the papers on demand after the event.
    • to create an interactive agenda with the presentations of interest and include appointments with other participants and exhibitors.
    • to generate networking through group or private chats and video calls.
    • have access to the simultaneous translation service during plenary lectures and interact with speakers through chats.
    • easy access through the browser both from the PC and from a cell phone (smartphone).
